I want to know what is the difference between frequency scan and cell scan in 5G.

Frequency scan is, UE change its Rx carrier frequency with frequency raster to receive and demodulate SSB signal from CELLs nearby by. If it can receive and demodulate multiple SSBs from multiple CELLs, based on RSRP or RSRQ, it choses one best CELL to camp, at the same time SI of this CELL and its carrier (initila BWP) is also obtained from the PBCH symbol in SSB in frequency and cell scan.
