Sub-projects are the primary structure within the CAMARA Project, designed to collaboratively define, develop, document, test and maintain APIs for specific service topics.
Each sub-project is formed by participants from multiple organizations working toward a common goal.
Starting with, Number Verification sub-project, which provides the customer, with the ability to verify the phone number associated with the SIM (Subscriber Identity Module) used in the device connected to the mobile data network.
This sub-project also works on One Time Password Validation, which offers real-time checks to verify that the user possessed the device that carries the indicated mobile phone number.
This sub-project also manages the work related to SIM Swap, which provides the customer with the ability to obtain information on any recent SIM pairing change related to the User’s mobile account.
Next, sub-project is Device Location, which provides the customer with the ability to verify the location of a device, retrieve the location of a device, subscribe and receive notifications about a device entering or leaving a certain location.
Then Device Status sub-project, which provides the ability to check if a device is reachable? or is it not connected to the network? check whether the device is in roaming? If so, in which country the device is roaming, and receive notifications if the connectivity or roaming status of the device changes.
Blockchain Public Address sub-project, which manages the association of Blockchain Public Addresses with phone numbers, enabling easier transactions based on phone numbers instead of Blockchain Public Addresses.
Capabilities and Runtime Restrictions sub-project, which offers environment-specific differences in API implementations by providing details on supported features, temporary unavailability, and other constraints.
Carrier Billing Checkout sub-project, which supports carrier billing as a payment method, allowing for seamless payment requests and processing.
Customer Insights sub-project that provides risk assessment based on user profiles managed by telecom operators.
