Counters from upper layer affecting DL Latency

Greetings Experts.

Do you know what can be impact on these two counters from upper layer not UU?
pmPdcpLatTimeDl, pmPdcpLatPktTransDl
For affecting DL Latency?

Vendor is Ericsson.

Hi @alireza_moradi, can you reiterate your query?
I’ve seen good deviation in these counter by tuning DRX related parameters.

Sure my friend, let me express the subject in detail:

In three different days DL Latency for two provinces which belong to one operator increased simultaneously and in the other hand we observe that traffic also impacted slightly but we did not find any issue RAN so we raised the problem to upper layers and core department but we have no evidences that the cases can directly belong to core layer.

Some I started to investigate possibility of changing PDCP SDU due to core or upper layer because the definition of counters are as following:

pmPdcpLatTimeDl: Aggregated DL Latency for a measurement period. The effective DL Latency time comprises the time from PDCP DRB SDU entering the buffer until the first data has been transmitted to the UE.
When carrier aggregation is used, the DL Latency for all component carriers is registered on the UE’s primary component carrier (PCell).

pmPdcpLatPktTransDl :Number of DRB packets for downlink Latency measurements.
When carrier aggregation is used, the DL Latency for all component carriers is registered on the UE’s primary component carrier (PCell).

And another query:

How did you reduce latency with DRX adjust?
