Hi all
I am researching the possibility of connecting an Android smartphone to Huawei BBU main control boards.
The boards I am interested in include:
-
GTMUb / GTMUc
-
UMPTa / UMPTb
-
UMPTe / UMPTg / UMPTga
-
LMPT
My initial goal is to establish a connection and successfully log in to these boards using an Android smartphone. After that, I plan to test whether it is possible to send MML commands and receive responses directly from the phone.
I would appreciate your experience with the following questions:
-
Have you successfully connected an Android smartphone to a Huawei GTMU or UMPT board?
-
Which connection method did you use?
-
USB Type-C to RJ45 Ethernet adapter
-
LAN to Wi-Fi Bridge / Mini Router
-
LAN to Bluetooth Gateway
-
Direct USB Connection
-
-
What specific adapter, router, or device model did you use?
-
What IP configuration and login method were required?
-
Which BBU model, main control board version, and software release did you test?
-
Were you able to send MML commands and receive responses directly from your smartphone?
The solution I am particularly interested in is:
Android Smartphone → Wi-Fi / Bluetooth → Compact Portable Device → Ethernet Cable → Huawei GTMU / UMPT Board
I am looking for a compact device that would allow an Android smartphone to connect to different types of Huawei main control boards.
If anyone has tested a similar connection, I would greatly appreciate it if you could share the device model, connection diagram, configuration details, or any relevant technical documentation.
Thank you in advance for your help.
