Hello Experts.

Can anyone help with 3G to 2G fallback for calls when 3G network is congested?

How to activate this in a network?

In this 3G is ZTE and 2G is Huawei.

Have you tried these parameters?

But remember when you try loadbalancing from 3G to 2G then there should be colocated 2G cells and gsm relations should be defined.

What are the normal value for these parameters?

  • DlLoadNeedBal2G: default 58%
  • UlLoadNeedBal2G: default 20dB

Also check for direct retry feature on 3G.
And HO preferred.

Try to set IRAT HO 3G-2G early.

Or load balancing DRD, LDB.
