What is the best subframe configuration and special frame configuration to get a balanced DL and UL throughput in LTE TDD?

Config 2 with other operator agreement.

Both should use same.

config1 provides beter Uplink Throughput.

Yes but we have big difference:

  • Downlink about 140 Mbps

  • Ulink about 5 Mbps

Difference will always be there due to TDD cell and consequent DL/UL slot assignment .

Low UL THP should be rather addressed by optimizing :

  • Poor UL RSRP issues
  • Poor UL CCE assignment SR rate
  • adding more sites for blanket coverage

Deploy UEs with higher antenna gain (Outdoor CPE - FWA ) / Indoor UEs with external antenna .
