Hi All,
For base station MIMO, the Tx equaliser coefficients are based on channel response.
For base station MIMO, Tx beam forming weights are also done based on channel matrix.
I can understand that Tx equaliser has to be inverse of channel frequency response.
But the beam forming needs control of Tx phases to focus the beams so how come it needs to know about channel response at all as it is local at transmit array of antennas?
Any thoughts please.
