Are logical channels at RLC layer or at PDCP layer?

Hi All,
For L2 as we do not required any HARQ procedure for MIB transmitted on PBCH.
I find it’s mentioned for SIB, it required special HARQ procedure.
What does it indicates?
Are logical channels at RLC layer or at PDCP layer?

After RLC processing.

Thanks :+1:.
Logical channels CCCH, BCCH, PCCH as mentioned required TM RLC mode need to check still they required HARQ process or not.

If its TM mode then it needs no ACK meaning no HARQ processes.

TM mode is for RLC, HARQ is on MAC layer.
Like RRC connection setup is on TM mode but will have a HARQ feedback.

This means there would be no harq feedback, but there would be soft combining at the receiver side.

Ok :+1:

Yes, Thanks.
As per understanding BCCH having MIB, PCCH having paging, MCCH for MBMB, required TM mode and no HARQ as well.
Only CCCH having SRB (i.e. c-plane ) required RLC TM mode and HARQ as well.
