In my network, Android phones do not display the 5G logo, but iPhones do. Does this mean that different phone manufacturers use different default configurations (A, B, C, D)?
Is it only the display not showing the 5G logo, or is the 5G service also not working?
The iPhone shows the 5G logo, but the throughput is low.
Android devices don’t display the 5G logo at all.
I mean, first, you need to verify whether it’s just a 5G logo display issue or if the 5G NSA service is not working at all.
You can cross-check this with the activation team to confirm if the 5G service is active on the SIMs.
Why does Android not show the 5G logo, while iPhone does?
There isn’t a single answer to this; you need to dig deeper and check the specific equipment you’re using.
What core team said?
Does this happen with many android phones, or only a few? It could be that the ones you tested do not support en-dc in the lte carrier or bands where anchoring is configured, while the tested iphones do.
I would suggest you check the UE capability information message to confirm this.
