5G NSA RE Power check using drive test

Hello Experts,
Can someone tell me how can we check resource element power in 5G NSA using drive test logs?

Thank you in advance.

Experts, Pls comment.

To check the resource element (RE) power in 5G NSA (Non-Standalone) using drive test logs, you can follow the steps below:

  1. Collect the drive test logs for the 5G NSA network. These logs should include the necessary parameters required for RE power calculation such as RSRP (Reference Signal Received Power), RSSI (Received Signal Strength Indicator), and SINR (Signal-to-Interference-plus-Noise Ratio).
  2. Once you have the drive test logs, you can use a drive test analysis tool or software to analyze the logs and calculate the RE power. Most analysis tools have built-in functions that allow you to calculate the RE power based on the RSRP, RSSI, and SINR values.
  3. You can then generate a report or map that shows the RE power levels in the 5G NSA network. This will give you an idea of the distribution of RE power across the network and help you identify any areas with poor RE power levels.

It’s important to note that RE power is just one of the many performance indicators that need to be considered when evaluating a 5G NSA network. Other indicators like latency, throughput, and handover success rates should also be analyzed to get a complete picture of the network’s performance.
