Hi All.

  • In 5G C-RAN, the gNB-CU-CP decides flow-to-DRB mapping and sends the generated SDAP and PDCP configuration using E1AP (BEARER CONTEXT SETUP/ MODIFICATION REQUEST message) to the gNB-CU-UP.

  • F1AP UE context setup procedure is performed to setup one or more Data Radio Bearers (DRBs) in the gNB-DU.

  • Here I try to depict how QoS Flows are carried by DRBs via F1-U GPRS tunnels between gNB CU-UP and gNB DU.
