We tested 4x4 MIMO (4x20W) vs. 2x20W and observed worse results with reduced 3CC usage.
What could be the reason? Could it be related to phone capability?
Our setup includes L800, L1800, and L2600 with 2x2 MIMO.
Could the phone be aggregating only 2CC instead of 3CC?
The UE is a Samsung S23 – does 4x4 MIMO only work with specific band combinations for Carrier Aggregation (CA)?

Have you conducted tests with other devices (not Samsung)?
Need decoded UE capability information message to triage.
The default ue capabilty in reporting tge CCs may not include your network band CCs.
In Nokia we have such a feature to inform the UE about the used frequenceies and can be enabled using the following parameter.
actNwReqUeCapa This parameter activates the feature ‘Network requested UE radio capabilities’.
