2G/3G traffic offload calculation

Hi Experts,
I have study case about 2G 3G and 4G about power configuration which is related to some radio types in network.
As we need to offload one of technologies 2G or 3G.

The radio type Is Ericsson Rru2279 and 4499
Which the max power is 160w

Any idea to do the calculation in correct way?

About the study case, what criteria do I need of take in consideration for all technology to offload the traffic?

To offload traffic is more logical configuration not power configuration.
Power configuration will impact footprint coverage.

The main study is about the power configuration as the radio is not supporting above 160 W.
Then in sake of increasing the LTE Power I need to offload the traffic on 2G and 3g both carriers.

Does same radio support 2G 3G and 4G?
And is 160 W shared among technologies?

Yes: Ericsson radio4499.

Suppose this is fixed and not dynamic power allocation?

Yes it’s fixed.

I haven’t done this but you can break it down like this as first step:

  • 4G: 3x Carriers - 20W each = 60W
  • 3G: 3x Carriers - 20W each = 60W
  • 2G: remaining 40W
  • Next step will be to look at which 4G carriers are there (you may want to assign 40W to some carriers)

How many carrier per cell you have in 2G, 3G and 4G (New planned)?
