How to find and replace the special character "*" in Excel

Hello experts. I have a worksheet (Excel) with several cells with “*”.

I need to replace it * (star, or shift+8) character.

The problem is * of course matches all contents of the cell, which is not what I want.

How do I disable this behavior?

Search for ~* instead of only *

Replace with whatever
