  • According to 3GPP specifications Release 18, maximum number of configured Component Carriers(CCs) for a UE is 16. for DL and 16 for UL. 5G NR 16 CCs CA configuration is only applicable in mmwave or Frequency Range 2 (FR2).

  • Here I try to depict, How it possible to configure 16 CCs CA for a UE in DL.
