Latency improved.
Retransmissions increased.
Slight traffic dip in some cases due to throttling of tcp.

So we can say not big degradation on enabling?

Yes, but big improvement in Latency.

Provided you don’t have PDCP discard timer already set to a low value.

If PDCP discard timer is set to infinity and your network is carrying good amount of traffic expect good improvement in Latency, roughly 15-20%.

However I am not sure about its impact on VoLTE.

My observations are purely data based…
