What is the difference between carrier and subcarrier technically, especially in LTE context? Why can’t we say there are 1200 carriers in 20 MHZ bandwidth instead of 1200 subcarriers?
Carrier is for the entire bandwidth, while the sub-carriers are for specific purposes.
