Hello RF experts,
I’d like to share a lightweight Android-based mobile network testing app, designed for short-term or resource-limited LTE / NR projects.
In many real projects, rooting phones or carrying dedicated tools isn’t always practical. The idea behind this app is to make service-level testing easy to run on any standard Android phone:
-
One-tap service tests: voice, web browsing, video, speed
-
Focus on user-experience KPIs rather than deep signaling
-
Indoor & outdoor testing with route planning and coverage visualization
-
Test data and reports can be exported for quick analysis
There is a free version that already supports one-tap service testing and scoring.
For new users, Pro features are available with a 15-day free trial, which can be useful for short acceptance checks or temporary optimization tasks.
The app is called WeTest - Mobile Network Test and is available on Google Play
I’m sharing this purely as a practical option for engineers.
Happy to hear feedback or real-world experiences if anyone tries it.
