Apple at new iOS update (iOS 16.4) by updating modem firmware, introduced many new features for LTE and 5G.
One of them for LTE is “supportedBandCombinationReduced-r13” which if eNB at UECapabilityEnquiry put “requestReducedFormat” and “requestSkipFallbackComb”, UE at response, instead of conventional format(“supportedBandCombination-r10”) sends CA and MIMO combinations as “supportedBandCombinationReduced-r13” which most usable combinations will report to eNB at one time enquiry.
