Multi-Objective Optimization of Joint Power and Admission Control in Cognitive Radio Networks Using Enhanced Swarm Intelligence

Throughput and energy have always been a fundamental trade-off in wireless communications.

In this latest publication, we’re able to achieve a max of 31% increase in throughput, while saving 3.58 Watt of power based on three practical services (multimedia, mixed, and power-saving) in Cognitive Radio Networks environment. These results were made possible by using an enhanced swarm intelligence technique.
