Is UE able to synchronise with 2 SSB beams for RACH?

Hi All,
I have one query here for 5G:
With 2 ssb beams we have 4 layers.
Let’s say we have 4x4 MIMO mode.
Now UE in field there with 4rx there, so after sgnb addition UE selected 1 ssb beam for RACH synchronisation.

Now query is: how can UE able to find 4 layers i.e. 2 ssb? Is UE able to synchronise with 2 SSB beams for RACH?

I think 4x4 MIMO for PDSCH layer not ssb beam; 4 layers of traffic in case MIMO.

Yes 4 layers used for PDSCH data.
But with single SSB synchronisation by UE, how layer switch from 2 to 4 for data transfer?
1 ssb = 2 layers

Ok, once UE synchronise with 1 SSB by RACH. In connected it can measure csi rs for channel measurement signal. From where it acquire number of port to measure for MIMO?
