Impacts of inter RNC inter frequency attempts in HO procedure

Hello Guys,

When I lock all target cells from inter frequency relationships on Nokia 3G I have the counter M1008c110 (the number of inter RNC inter frequency attempts which increases).

Obviously the IFHO is not performed but I would like to understand what is the impact of these attempts on the HO procedure.

Is this counter for preparation or execution phase?

You should check for external cells, it’s trying to HO inter RNC.

Inter RNC should be external neighbors issue.

Target lock should impact on preparation phase.
You can check preparation success rate it should be zero.
