Does VoLTE traffic can increase in MB due to low MCS?

Ue lost counter check :heavy_check_mark:

Do you mean this was caused by single UE issue?

Ok, let’s deal with counters in detail. Which vendor?

Vendor is Samsung.

Oops… no experience with Samsung LTE. Sorry.
In Huawei there is noise and intereference counter per PRB, 100 counters!

Samsung is a Wireless vendor too?

@sadanandk2, do Samsung have such counters?

Yes its there
Please check avg TTIB users. Did they increase?
If increased then also VoLTE traffic can increase, I guess.

Thanks, let me check.

UE lost happen in poor radio conditions one of major victim of drop.
Check ncqidtx, nsrdtx, n310qci1, t310qci1 value.

Those do not affect MCS.
Question why MCS decreased from 15 to 6 for that hour.

Yes I checked a similar counter for poor Radio, but was normal.

Yes, correct.

Original question I find drop increase.
For MCS reduction with increase in VoLTE traffic?
This need to be solved, right?

@eta004 said VoLTE traffic increased. Don’t know where it is measured.

It’s measured at eNB.
Derived from these Counters :
EnbqciDLbyte.qci1 +EnbqciULbyte

We have direct KPI for VoLTE traffic in Erlangs.

For reduction of MCS try to correlate with CQI samples counter. Any correlation there drawn?

I think CQI also decreased, same like MCS.

Check in your system report any readily available KPI there.

KPI is steadily available for VoLTE traffic, I just checked the formula now since you guys asked.
VoLTE traffic kpi derived from these counters.
