Can a cell support both OFDM & SC-FDM in UL at a time?

Hi Experts,
As you know, NR can support both CP-OFDM & SC_FDMA in UL.
How do network & UE come to an agreement on which waveform to use?

gNB will decide UL waveform for each UE adaptively based on UL SINR.

Are you sure for each UE it can be different at a time?

Yup, same question. If different UEs use different waveforms, won’t there be interference?
Also, in which message gNB will let UE know about the waveform to use for UL?
