Beam management/switching CSI-RS vs SS-RSRP

Hi Experts.

Beam management/switching can be done on a basis of CSI-RS and SS-RSRP.
It’s configurable in my case.
Any specific advantage choosing one over another?

Beam switching can be between SSB beam or CSI-RS beams if enabled it’s done on basis of report quantity which need to be L1 RSRP reported with CSI to gNB.

For mobility between cells its HO between SSB beam done on basis of SSB RSRP or CSI-RS RSRP whichever used.
