Only 1 reason to offload VoLTE users from TDD is Massive MIMO in LTE which now as well not workable solution.
Will really help offloading interms of VoLTE?
In fact between FDD carrier also we kept load based HO off for VoLTE
VoLTE must not be handed over unnecessarily and it won’t help even in offloading.
Interesting load based HO for qci1. Which vendor please?
In general I seen for VoLTE load based HO not recommended.
B40 is susceptible to internal interference and in interference hours users were not able to make voice calls or faced severe muting so decided to shift all voice traffic on FDD bands.
Also band5 has best CQI compared to band40 n band3 so band5 is ideal for voice traffic in our network.
Compared to TDD, FDD has very good Uplink performance as TDD uplink capacity is less and affected by TOF interference.
