Hi Experts.

What happens if 3 cells in the network which are at the same distance from the UE are configured with the same PSS ID but with different SSS ID?

Since we know cell ID = PSS + 3SSS. Assuming all three cells are at 120x (x = 0,1,2) angle from the UE with 3 different cell IDs but with same PSS.

How does it impact the system?

I think even in that case we would have problems with RA as interference during RA procedure will increase. For Lte, RS signals position also depends on PCI, so very probably UE would experience more drops during handover procedures.
